About the role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsperson with hands-on experience in commercial office interiors and corporate fit-out projects. The incumbent will be responsible for producing high-quality GFC drawings, working drawings, and MEP coordination drawings, while working in close collaboration with senior management, project managers, consultants, and site teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of interior fit-out projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Good for Construction (GFC) drawings covering all interior disciplines, including civil, architectural, furniture, millwork, and finishes.
• Develop detailed working drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings as per design intent and project requirements.
• Draft MEP coordination drawings in collaboration with MEP consultants and ensure clash-free integration with interior elements.
• Produce layout plans, elevation drawings, sections, details, and reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) for commercial office fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with Senior Designers, Project Managers, and Site Engineers to align drawings with actual construction progress.
• Maintain an organised drawing register, version control, and document management system.
• Perform quality checks on all issued drawings before release and track revisions across live projects.
• Review contractor-submitted shop drawings and provide timely responses to RFIs.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4–6 years of draughting experience in commercial office interiors and corporate fit-out projects.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Sound understanding of construction materials, joinery, furniture specifications, and interior finishing systems.
• Knowledge of MEP services and ability to interpret and coordinate MEP drawings with interior layouts.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

• Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar BIM/3D tools.
• Prior exposure to large-scale multi-floor interior projects involving phased handovers.
• Familiarity with LEED or green building documentation as it relates to interior spaces.
• Experience working with pan-India or multi-city project portfolios.
