About the role
We are looking for a Junior Research Analyst to support Altre's commercial real estate research and market intelligence practice. The role involves collecting and analyzing real estate data, supporting market reports and client assignments, tracking industry developments, and translating research findings into clear, data-driven insights and presentations.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research across commercial real estate market, location, construction, and transaction intelligence.
- Collect, clean, organize, and analyze real estate data from multiple sources.
- Support monthly and quarterly reports, market studies, industry reports, and client-specific research assignments.
- Track commercial real estate trends, transactions, developments, and key market themes across India.
- Assist senior team members with research assignments, market studies, and ad-hoc client queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to incorporate research findings into client deliverables.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in real estate research, market research, data analysis, consulting, or a similar role.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to research and analysis.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in commercial real estate market intelligence, location intelligence, or transaction research.
- Experience preparing market reports, research presentations, and data-driven insights.
- Exposure to primary and secondary research methodologies.
- Experience working with real estate databases and market information sources.
- Strong interest in commercial real estate, data analytics, and market trends.
